We’re still growing…

We are growing. We are interested in speaking with accredited coaches who can identify with the material here.

Who are you….where are you going……what is your plan?

The significance of Lime Trees Road as a name is very personal; it was the place where I felt the most alive, had the most fun and learnt a whole lot including how to drive aged 12…Lime Trees Road was the road where my grandmother lived and it was the place where as a little girl I felt alive and at home. It now gives expression to my purpose as a coach. I want to support clients to be conscious and in choice.

Lime Trees Road, a road for growth: There is always a story…

Start date: January 2009, arguably one of the worst months in our recent economic history to start a company, one perspective only but it fits with me; bold and bullish.

The Story: After 15 years ( maybe more ) working in corporate life both here in Europe and in America I began to question why so many people “hate” their jobs and generally feel unfulfilled. I was a head-hunter at the time and it seemed to me that every candidate however seasoned and skilled seemed to be a disgruntled employee. It struck me that yes perhaps leadership development and organisational development is far from perfect but it may also be the case that people are not looking at themselves closely enough to realise their own potential at work. Some appeared over engaged to the point of burnout whilst others had difficulty engaging at all. I wanted to know if there was another way of addressing this conundrum and if I could make a difference in people’s experience at work. I began to study the field of coaching and graduated in 2007 as a Newfield Certified Coach, a certification recognised at PCC level by the ICF. After a brief sojourn with another leadership development company I decided to do something I have always dreamt of doing. I set up my own company and so Lime Trees Road came into effect. My ongoing quest for myself and for those for whom I coach is to identify and provide practices that support sustainable success, because let’s face it we would all rather have a great day at work and a legacy to boot.

I want to be someone.

MY STORY

Eldest of three girls born in Cork, Ireland

I studied at Trinity College Dublin twice, once to secure a BA (HONS) Economics which was converted to an MA, and the second time to get an MBA.

I worked in the City of London where I was a foreign exchange trader and later a head-hunter for financial services.
I dropped off the world so to speak to live in the Cayman Islands for two years. From there I moved up to the US where I embarked on a career in Executive Search. In 1998 I moved back to Europe to be closer to my family. After a further few years in executive search I became restless to pursue a more meaningful career. My words I appreciate but I wanted to move in a world where I was not screaming for the best deals and where I was not judging people on their successes in life. I wanted to help people be in choice about their respective futures hence coaching.
