The story of corporate life is one of a stressed and disengaged culture. The next few years will be testing and maybe even very difficult for some. It will require a new generation of leaders to surface and bring forth a corporate way of being that values individual contributions in a collective setting, cares for its people, and fosters engagement and fulfilment over short term gains. The onslaught of 24/7 and an “always on” mentality serve to make life more demanding not less. Gallup reports that less than 27% of employees call themselves “truly engaged.” The discipline of Leadership is suffering in this tsunami of disequilibrium while a new order emerges. The practice of coaching as a new learning methodology surfaced about twenty years ago and is finally getting traction in most well respected organisations as a process that works and provides individual attention where traditional forms of leadership development have failed.

Lime Trees Road is an executive coaching company dedicated to identifying practices which generate true leadership, authentic engagement and collective growth. Our programs, coaching, team coaching; speaking engagements, corporate workshops and blog will incorporate ideas from top business professionals in ontological coaching from Newfield, and coaching disciplines from the Institute of Generative Leadership. We will also incorporate mindfulness into our coaching offer and will look to The Yoga Room for mindfulness and self inquiry practices.
Our aim in all of this is to enable corporate professionals to cultivate mastery – not a futile effort to control the world or an endeavour to be right– but a courageous pursuit to discipline the ultimate- themselves- and grow.
